# OnlineAlgoTrading.com — Risk Disclosure

**Effective Date:** January 10, 2023 **Last Updated:** January 10, 2023

This Risk Disclosure applies to all products and services offered by OnlineAlgoTrading.com ("**OAT**," "**we**," "**us**"), including Trading Signals, Copy Trading, and the Automated Trading Bot (collectively, the "**Services**"). By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted this Risk Disclosure.

---

## 1. General Risk Statement

**Trading forex, gold (XAUUSD), CFDs, futures, and other leveraged instruments carries a high level of risk and may not be suitable for all investors.**

You may lose some or all of your invested capital, and in certain leveraged products, losses can exceed your initial deposit. Do not trade, subscribe to, or use any Service with money you cannot afford to lose.

---

## 2. Leverage Risk

Leverage allows you to control a large position with a relatively small amount of capital. While this can amplify gains, it equally amplifies losses. A small adverse market movement can result in a loss that is large relative to your account size, and in fast-moving markets you may not be able to close a position before significant losses accrue.

---

## 3. Market Risk

Prices of currencies, metals, and other instruments can move rapidly and unpredictably due to news events, economic data releases, central bank decisions, geopolitical developments, or changes in market sentiment. No signal, strategy, or automated system can anticipate or protect against all such movements.

---

## 4. Slippage & Execution Risk

Orders — whether placed manually based on a Signal, executed automatically through Copy Trading, or executed by the Automated Trading Bot — may fill at a different price than intended, particularly during high volatility, news events, or periods of low liquidity. This is known as slippage and is outside OAT's control.

---

## 5. Technology & System Risk

Delivery and execution of the Services depend on third-party infrastructure, including but not limited to:

- Your broker's trading platform and servers; - Telegram (for signal delivery and notifications); - Your internet connection, VPS, or hosting environment; - MT5 or other trading platform software running the Automated Trading Bot.

Any of these systems may experience outages, delays, bugs, or failures that prevent a Signal from being delivered, a Copy Trade from executing, or the Bot from placing, modifying, or closing a trade as intended. OAT is not responsible for losses arising from such technical failures.

---

## 6. Liquidity Risk

Some instruments or market conditions may have insufficient buyers or sellers to execute trades at expected prices, which can widen spreads, increase slippage, or make it difficult to enter or exit a position at a desired price.

---

## 7. Counterparty & Broker Risk

Your trading activity is executed through your own broker or trading platform, which OAT does not control. If your broker experiences insolvency, a system failure, a dispute over execution, or otherwise fails to perform, OAT bears no responsibility for resulting losses. You are responsible for selecting and evaluating your own broker.

---

## 8. Margin Call & Liquidation Risk

If a position moves against you, your broker may require additional margin (a "margin call") or may automatically liquidate your position(s) — including those opened via Copy Trading or the Automated Trading Bot — to protect against further loss. OAT is not responsible for margin calls or forced liquidations executed by your broker.

---

## 9. No Guarantee of Profit

No signal service, copy-trading arrangement, automated trading bot, or strategy — regardless of its historical or backtested performance — can guarantee profits or protection against losses. Markets are inherently unpredictable, and past results (actual, simulated, or backtested) are not indicative of future performance.

---

## 10. Hypothetical & Simulated Performance

Any performance figures, backtests, win rates, pip counts, or similar statistics shown by OAT are often based on hypothetical, simulated, or historical data and are subject to important limitations:

- Simulated results do not reflect actual trading and may not account for the real-world impact of slippage, liquidity, spreads, or execution delays. - Hypothetical performance is often calculated with the benefit of hindsight. - No representation is made that any account will, or is likely to, achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.

---

## 11. Testimonials

Testimonials, case studies, or results shared by OAT or its users reflect individual experiences under specific and often favorable conditions. They are **not representative of typical outcomes**. A majority of retail traders lose money trading leveraged products, and your results will vary based on market conditions, capital, risk management, and your own decisions.

---

## 12. Regulatory Status

OAT is not a registered broker-dealer, futures commission merchant, introducing broker, commodity trading advisor (CTA), commodity pool operator (CPO), or investment adviser with the CFTC, NFA, SEC, OSC, CIRO, or any other regulator in the United States or Canada. The Services are educational and informational in nature and do not constitute financial or investment advice or a solicitation to trade.

---

## 13. Your Responsibility

By using any OAT Service, you acknowledge and agree that:

- You are solely responsible for all trading decisions made using the Signals, Copy Trading, or Automated Trading Bot; - You have sufficient risk capital and financial capacity to bear potential losses; - You will test any Signal, strategy, or the Bot on a demo account before using it on a live account; - You assume full responsibility for monitoring your account and managing your own risk, even when using automated features.
